Classes for Ages 10 and Older

Ballet classes for all ages

Level III Ages 10-12 •  Level IV Ages 12 & up  •  Level V Ages 12 & up

Ballet teaches proper placement, alignment, balance, technique and control. Students will focus on improving strength, control, and body positioning in barre, center work and progressions across the floor, as well as learning all of the vocabulary and terminology.



Pointe Ballet classes for teens

Entry is by teacher recommendation

A class for the Intermediate to Advanced Classical Ballet dancer who wishes to further their Ballet training to include dancing on Pointe. Level I students may be asked to start the pointe / pre-pointe class without pointe shoes to develop ankle strength and in preparation of pointe work.

Pointe shoes should only be obtained under the direction of the instructor, with much guidance and pre-approval. The instructor will determine when a student is ready.



Tap dance classes for ages 7 and up

Level III Ages 10-12 •  Level IV Ages 12-14  •  Level V Ages 14 & up

Tap dancers will work on increasing cardiovascular conditioning, strength, flexibility, and coordination. Tap dance combinations will build strength in the legs and feet in addition to increasing flexibility in the hips, knees and ankles. Audible, rhythmical steps are taught in a progressive class setting, starting at beginning, Level II and working towards advance, Level V.



Jazz dance classes for teenagers

Ages 10 & Older

Jazz is a style that runs through many genres of choreography. We teach jazz technique classes tailored to beginner, intermediate or advanced students. We are very passionate about the classic Jazz technique, power and clean lines of traditional jazz, and are continuing to grow with today’s modern movement, music and styles.



Modern and Lyrical dance lessons

Ages 10 & Older

Lyrical dance is a style that combines Ballet andJazz dancing techniques. It is performed to music with lyrics so that it inspires expression of strong emotions the choreographer feels from the lyrics of the song. This style concentrates on an individual approach and expressiveness of such emotions as love, joy, hurt, or anger. It does not concentrate on the dancer’s precision of movement.



Hip Hop dance classes

Hip Hop
Ages 10 & Older

Intermediate through Advanced level Hip Hop taught to popular, clean music. Steps are taught in the style frequently seen on television and music videos, utilizing high and low impact footwork and isolations. This class generates body control and awareness, musicality, and most importantly, a safe space to have some fun!
